Garjiya Devi Temple

Located around 23 km from our resort in Jim Corbett, Garjiya Devi Temple is built on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Garjiya and locals of this region are known for worshipping her for several decades. It is one of the most esteemed shrines in this area and is also known for its peaceful surroundings and river views. Guests can take a scenic 40 minutes’ drive from our resort to visit this sacred spot for worshipping and exploring spiritual surroundings. An annual fair is held by temple authorities every year during the time of KartikPoornima and thousands of devotees visit the temple during that time of the year.

Hanuman Dham

Hanuman Dham is situated around 15 km away from Anantum Gateway Resorts & Spa. It is a beautifully designed temple near Ramnagar and as the name suggests it is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The striking architecture of the dham along with its grand entrance gate and perfectly carved walls showcase the craftsmanship of old times. Besides the temple complex, one can also find a tranquil waterbody which is perfect for those seeking calmness. One can see detailed sculptures depicting mythological scenes from the Ramayana carved on the walls of the temple. Presence of a serene environment along with a space for meditation makes Hanuman Dham a must visit for every spiritual seeker. One can reach here in 25 to 30 minutes’ drive from our resort.

Corbett Museum Kaladhungi

Situated around 37 km away, it takes around an hour long drive to reach Corbett Museum Kaladhungi from our resort in Corbett. This museum is built in the former residence of Jim Corbett known as the legendary hunter, a great conservationist, and an inspiring author. It is located amidst a serene village of this region known as Kaladhungi. The museum showcases Corbett’s life through his writings, personal belongings, and letters and photographs that depict his love for wildlife and nature in the best way. Guests who are planning to visit this museum can also explore Corbett Falls and enjoy a peaceful picnic in the surrounding greenery.

Barati Rau Waterfall

For every guest who wishes to explore nature’s beauty, must visit Barati Rau Waterfall which is hardly 28 kms away from our resort. It takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach this location from Anantum Gateway Resorts & Spa offering guests a refreshing escape due to the scenic views and lush vegetation offered by this place. It is a perfect location to enjoy a short trek through forest trails which lead to this gushing waterfall. To experience this waterfall in its most beautiful version, visiting it during and after the monsoon season is considered the best. The rocky surrounding around the waterfall along with the crystal clear water is a perfect treat for eyes. It is one of the most serene spots for relaxing amidst nature or to enjoy a picnic with friends and family as well as for photography.

Strawberry Farm

As the name says, Strawberry Farm is famous for the assorted range of strawberries available here. It is known as Flying Sparrow Strawberry Farm and is spread over an area of two hectares. It is located at 3000 feet altitude and is quite close to the Bijrani Safari Zone. It can be reached either via elephant safari or by booking a jeep. The farm can be explored throughout the year due to the pleasant temperature. Other than the fresh handpicked strawberries, one can also get jams and jellies made from those fresh farm strawberries.

Nainital

And when staying at our resort in Jim Corbett, reaching Nainital becomes more convenient, as it is only 75 km away from the resort. This hill station is called the ‘Lake District of India’ as it is built around the beautiful Naini Lake. When visiting Nainital, one can also explore other nearby attractions including Naina Devi Temple, Tiffin Top, Snow View Point, and the most favorite spot of all, that is Mall Road. Kainchi Dham
